Warranty & Returns


All orders will be shipped with UPS unless specified otherwise. UPS orders are shipped with tracking numbers and are fully insured. Contact L.A. Mustang in event of any damage to your shipment. Every effort is made to process and ship your order in a timely manner. Packages measuring larger than 84” in length and width are classified by UPS as oversized and will be billed at 30 pounds although actual weight may be less. Packages measuring larger than 108” in length and width are classified by UPS as oversized 2 and will be billed at 70 pounds although the actual weight may be less.

Shipping Options

L.A. Mustang offers an assortment of expedited shipping options.

  • Next Day Early AM – Next business day between 8 A.M. and 8:30 A.M.
  • Next Day Air – Next business day between 10:30 A.M. and 5 P.M.
  • Next Day Air Saver – Next business day between 3 P.M. and 4:30 P.M.
  • 2ND Day Air AM – Delivery by noon of second business day
  • 2ND Day Air – Delivery by end of second business day
  • 3 Day Select – Delivery by end of third business day
  • International Shipping Now Available!

    International orders will be shipped via UPS Global, FedEx International or USPS International. Your order will not include conversion/taxes or duties that occur at international borders. The customer is responsible for any charges related to international shipping.

    • International orders require PayPal payments only.
    • We cannot ship hazardous items (Example: Paint, etc.)
    • Free shipping does not apply to international orders.

    UPS Shipments

    To use UPS delivery, we need a complete physical street address. UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. UPS will attempt to deliver your package three times before returning the goods to L.A. Mustang. If you should receive a green “attempted delivery” card, please call the UPS phone number on the card to insure immediate delivery of your order. Upon delivery, please inspect your items for accuracy or for any freight damage within 48 hours. If any damages are present or the parts are incorrect - contact L.A. Mustang immediately.

    Damage Claims

    The carrier is responsible for delivering your merchandise in good condition. It’s best to inspect each package upon delivery. If necessary, note the damage to the driver and contact L.A. Mustang to start the Damage Claim process. We cannot replace damaged merchandise if a damage claim has not been made. We are here to help! Please keep the merchandise in the original condition you received it and save all the packaging and boxes. UPS may want to check it out.

    Truck Freight

    Various items are too large for UPS to handle. Fenders, hoods, Quarter Panels, and more... Truck freight shipments must be inspected for damage before the driver leaves the merchandise. This includes deliveries with no visible or obvious signs of damage. If damage is found, it must be reported to the driver. Signing for the delivery is an acknowledgement by the customer that all items were received in good condition. Once a delivery is signed for, L.A. Mustang and/or the Trucking Company will not be responsible for damaged parts in that shipment.

    Refused Shipments

    The customer is responsible for shipping costs (both ways) on all shipments for which delivery is refused.

    Missing Parts

    L.A. Mustang must be contacted concerning any missing item within 72 hours of delivery.


    We make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours. On occasion, a particular part may be unavailable and out of stock. When this occurs we will backorder the item and notify you when the part is available. If you prefer, you may cancel any backorder at anytime.


    You may return any item for any reason within 30 days of your purchase. We will need a copy of your original invoice and a return authorization number. Call us for your “RA” number at 877-768-7826. All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, and any returns sent C.O.D. will be refused. Always insure your return! Please include a note describing the reason for the return. Items need to be unused and in resalable condition. Returns may not be painted, stripped, installed, or modified. Items ordered in error may be subject to a 10% restocking fee and will not receive a refund on shipping charges. Certain items are not returnable. Electrical parts, stripe kits, decals, books, special orders, or any parts that have been used, cannot be returned. All new parts should be in the original box or packaging. Shipping charges are not refundable unless we have clearly shipped you the wrong part. Special Order items cannot be returned.

    Core Returns

    Please drain all fluids and wrap in plastic to prevent leakage. The returned core must be in good condition and moveable parts must not be locked, frozen, or rusted solid. No bent or welded shafts, cracked cases, broken or missing parts, deep grooves, or disassembled cores will be credited. Returned core must be the same part as rebuilt unit purchased. Core pricing does not reflect the actual value of the part and is only an incentive to return the part to us. JUNK PARTS sent as cores will not receive core credit and cannot be returned to sender. The condition of any core will be determined by the manufacturer and/or L.A. Mustang.
